Minimizing liability risks and defending against liability claims arising from our clients' business operations is one of the focal points of our work. Our clients can rely on our many years of experience in court and in shaping legal structures, regardless of whether they are affected by a claim as the party causing the damage, the injured party, or the insurer, including in cross-border delivery transactions. Preventively, efficient minimization of liability risks begins with the drafting of tailor-made contracts and the implementation of intelligent contract management systems for the organizational areas of purchasing, production, quality assurance, customer service, and sales.

This applies, for example, to (framework) supply contracts, quality assurance agreements, cooperation agreements, contract manufacturing agreements, and general terms and conditions, which we draft and negotiate for our clients. We also optimize our clients' internal processes in line with strategic objectives developed individually in collaboration with them in the context of drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts, and provide training for purchasing, quality assurance, and sales departments accordingly.

In the event of damage, we manage and coordinate legally compliant communication for our clients. In doing so, we take comprehensive account of recourse relationships in the supply chain, in particular with regard to upstream suppliers and designers, always involving the insurers concerned.

In addition to traditional business and product liability insurance, we also assist in the enforcement of coverage claims under more specialized insurance contracts, in particular recall, D&O, financial loss liability, and business interruption policies. For technically complex issues, we consult specialized expert agencies as needed, who use their technical expertise to comprehensively support and document the preparation or defense of a claim, as well as any necessary recall campaigns. Through this close-knit network, we provide our clients with legally secure support in relevant liability scenarios.
