Data transfer within the group, data transfer abroad, employee data protection, direct marketing, but also IT projects and compliance measures (whistleblowing hotlines) – data protection is becoming increasingly important these days. Violations of data protection regulations are now punishable by substantial fines, while at the same time the requirements for the design of work processes in accordance with data protection law are becoming ever more stringent. Decisions by the European Court of Justice and the European Commission – e.g., on the Data Privacy Framework – are constantly changing and refining the legal framework for data protection.

We advise companies on all aspects of data protection, e.g., in the drafting and negotiation of contracts for commissioned data processing in complex IT projects, in the creation of procedure directories and data protection concepts, in the drafting of policies, in the design of marketing campaigns, and in the negotiation and drafting of works agreements. We also act as external data protection officers.
